Corporate Shamelessness

I rarely am emotionally about things, but if there is one that makes my blood boil is when corporations behave unethically to maximize profits at the expense of their customers, the environment, and larger societal structures. From an objective perspective, the consensus on the list of suspects may range from Shell and BP on their impact on the environment. Meta/Facebook and ByteDance may top the lidt on their role in downgrading us all. From a subjective experience, howeverC the one that tops the list is certainly Wells Fargo. No other company has been as vile and crafty in their practices as this bank. Its hidden fees, its labyrinths of canceling credit lines, and their predatory practices on their customers is beyond the pale.

I do appreciate their honesty in their branding: the tacky yellow and red with cheap typography is an honest representation of dubious business. Companies like these exemplify how money can bend the rule of law. Profit at the expense of the defenseless customer. Where are the regulatory agencies?
